South Bound- Canada Goose wall
hanging from an Alaskan Moose
shed antler. In this piece I used
the entire antler focusing on the
palm points as natural wing
feathers. It is finished in multiple
layers of acrylic paint. I used a
metallic gold underlay and a
bronze tone topcoat sealed in
satin lacquer to give it the true
look of bronze. The natural antler
characteristics give it the texture
and feel of a bronze. The antler
measures 31" long and 30" from
the beak tip to the longest tine.
